About us

In 1954, Mr. Abbott built a custom home for a McDonald’s franchisee. Impressed by the quality of his work, the owner insisted that Mr. Abbott also construct his McDonald’s franchise in Enka, North Carolina. As his first commercial project, the build required time and careful attention to detail—but perfection was nonnegotiable. That commitment defined Mr. Abbott’s approach to every project.
From that first restaurant, the business steadily expanded, eventually focusing exclusively on commercial construction. Through exceptional craftsmanship, reliability, and integrity, John W. Abbott Construction earned a strong reputation and the trust of clients who continue to choose the company time and time again for their commercial projects.
